Wednesday Rambles

Hello peeps! I thought I'd share a few snaps from my instagram (@emimarg) today as I didn't have a post ready to go and Wednesday are my busy days. The weather around here has finally turned cool and fall-like and I am thoroughly enjoying it (mostly because I can step outside and not start sweating instantly).

This morning I took some photos for an upcoming post that involved me actually being in front of the camera for a change. Let me tell you, standing around in your backyard with a camera on a tripod is a weird feeling. I know a lot of bloggers do it regularly, but I'm not over the feeling that one of my neighbors could step outside at any moment and see me attempting to pose casually in front of a large camera on a stick. But maybe that's just me. I don't think I'm going to become a fashion blogger anytime soon.

Anyway, have you ever noticed that you can have an idea of how you think you look, but when you see a photo of yourself it's not quite what you pictured? As I was editing the pictures from this morning I noticed my hair looked so much darker and reddish than I thought it was. And it's gone kinda ombre on me (sidenote: spellcheck is insisting that "ombre" should be "sombrero". What???)

So now I'm thinking maybe I should dye it but after having a not so great history with hair dye I'm not too sure about it (and yes, I've rambled about changing my hair before). But if I could do anything color-wise, and it would actually look good on me with my coloring, I would do something like this pin or this one or this one.

So there you have it; the profound things I've been thinking about today. What's on your mind today?
